Filtration Options for Small Spaces
Our Everpure water filtration systems offer incredible water quality while operating out of sight and out of mind. All of our filtration systems are designed to be mounted underneath a kitchen sink and to provide freshly filtered water on demand. By using easily replaceable filter cartridges, these filtration systems are extremely simple to use and maintain. In addition to offering amazing water quality in home kitchens, we also carry Everpure filtration systems that are designed to be a perfect fit for smaller spaces like the H54 and EF1500 systems.
All of our Everpure filtration systems are designed to be easy to install and operate. These filtration systems can be added to any kitchen sink using only a few basic hand tools, making them a great option for homeowners without plumbing experience. All you need is about a foot and a half of space on the inner wall of the cabinet beneath your sink to install one of our compact Everpure filters.
The Everpure H54 is a great option for smaller spaces. While your average Everpure system measures 20 inches in height, the H54 system is only 15 inches high. This makes it the most compact Everpure home filtration system that we offer. Despite being 25% smaller than other popular Everpure filtration systems like the H300, they still have a high water filtration capacity. Each H54 cartridge can filter approximately 750 gallons of water before a replacement cartridge will be needed.
The key to the efficiency of these filter cartridges is their internal design. Each cartridge contains Everpure's proprietary Micro-Pure filtration media. This carbon based filter media has an extremely high surface area and is capable of removing particulate matter as small as 0.5 microns in size from your drinking water. The media is laid out along a pleated filter membrane to provide a high internal surface area to promote both filtration and excellent water flow.
In order to dispense filtered water, the H54 will require a dedicated water dispenser, typically in the form of a small air gap faucet. These faucets are available in a wide range of styles, so it is easy to find one that will be a good match for your kitchen.
While the H54 is a great option for small kitchens, it does require the installation of a dedicated water dispenser. Due to space restrictions, many small kitchens will not have room for additional fixtures without sacrificing valuable counter space. Instead of dispensing water through a second faucet, the EF1500 is designed to dispense filtered water using the cold water side of your existing faucet.
While most Everpure filtration systems are designed to divert a portion of water from a sink's cold water line, full flow systems like the EF1500 completely divert all water from the cold water side of your faucet. In order to filter all of your cold water without sacrificing the flow rate of your sink, the cartridges on full flow systems are designed a little differently. Each cartridge provides a flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute, the same as the average home faucet. This is a significant improvement over the 0.5 gallons per minute flow rate from other systems like the H54.
In addition to offer this improved flow rate, these filtration systems are also designed to filter 1500 gallons per cartridge. This is partially thanks to the internal design of these cartridges, which have a porous carbon block design that helps to pack as much filtration media as possible into the compact cartridge.
For both of these filtration systems, maintenance is a simple process. Typically the capacity on these cartridges make them large enough to provide clean water on demand for an entire year. Regardless of the amount of water filtered, it is recommended to change your cartridge at least once per year to maintain a healthy filtration system.
If you notice a decreased flow rate before a year has passed, this is a sign that it might be time to change your cartridge. Luckily the cartridge replacement process is as simple as changing a lightbulb and should only take a few minutes. Once this is done you will be able to enjoy up to a year of having freshly filtered water whenever you need it. No need to constantly refill pitchers or constantly replace filter cartridges. All you have to do is grab a glass, fill it, and enjoy the clean, crisp taste of having freshly filtered water constantly available.
If you need a great filtration system that will fit almost any space, then the H54 or EF1500 might be the perfect solution for your home.
